Network DAC Preamplifier

N-05XE

The ESOTERIC N-05XE combines a high-performance network streamer, advanced digital-to-analog converter, dual-mono balanced preamplifier, and headphone amplifier in a single refined chassis. Featuring the next-generation Master Sound Discrete DAC G2 and ESOTERIC Network Engine G4, it delivers exceptional versatility and refined musical reproduction for high-end audio systems.

Master Sound Discrete DAC G2

Developed from the technology of the flagship Grandioso N1, the proprietary FPGA-based DAC features a 64-bit/512Fs multi-level Delta-Sigma architecture, carefully selected discrete components, and independent processing algorithms for PCM and DSD.

ESOTERIC Network Engine G4

The fourth-generation network engine supports PCM playback up to 768 kHz/32-bit and native DSD up to 22.5 MHz. Ethernet and SFP connectivity provide flexible integration with high-resolution streaming systems.

Dual-Mono, Dual-Balanced Preamplifier

Derived from Grandioso amplifier design principles, the preamplifier features independent left and right channel circuitry, a dedicated volume-control power supply, and a high-current HCLD output stage.

Advanced Headphone Amplifier

The newly refined dual-mono headphone amplifier delivers up to 1,200 mW + 1,200 mW into 32 Ω and features both 4-pin XLR balanced and 6.3 mm stereo headphone outputs.

ES-LINK Analog & Comprehensive Connectivity

With XLR, RCA, ES-LINK Analog, USB, optical, coaxial, Bluetooth, and external clock connectivity, the N-05XE accommodates a wide range of digital and analog sources while serving as a versatile control center for a high-end audio system.
