Grandioso T1

The ESOTERIC Grandioso T1 is a flagship analog turntable that introduces an innovative approach to vinyl playback through advanced magnetic-drive technology and precision mechanical engineering. Featuring the patented MagneDrive System, a massive aluminium-alloy platter, and a sophisticated three-unit construction, the Grandioso T1 is designed to minimise vibration and deliver highly precise rotational performance.

Esoteric MagneDrive System

The patented MagneDrive System uses magnetic induction to transfer rotational force to the platter without direct mechanical contact between the drive mechanism and platter. This innovative design helps minimise the transmission of motor vibration and supports smooth, stable rotation.

Magne-Float Platter

The approximately 19 kg aluminium-alloy platter incorporates Magne-Float technology, which uses magnetic repulsion to reduce the effective load on the spindle bearing to approximately 4 kg. This design helps reduce bearing friction while maintaining a stable platform for vinyl playback.

Three-Unit Construction & Independent Power Supply

The Grandioso T1 separates the main turntable unit, motor unit, and power supply unit into three independent sections. This architecture helps isolate mechanical vibration and electrical interference from the sensitive record-playing components.

Precision VCXO Motor Control

The VCXO-based motor-control system supports 33⅓ and 45 rpm playback, with speed adjustment available within ±12% in 0.1% increments. Fine adjustment of the magnetic drive force provides additional control over the system's operation.

Advanced Chassis & Vibration Isolation

The multilayer chassis combines aluminium and wood, supported by specialised isolation feet designed to reduce the influence of external vibration. This carefully engineered structure provides a stable foundation for precise analogue playback.

10 MHz External Clock Input

The Grandioso T1 supports an external 10 MHz clock reference for integration with compatible ESOTERIC master clock systems, such as the Grandioso G1X. This allows the turntable to be incorporated into a sophisticated high-end audio system.

Flexible Tonearm Configuration

Available with the TA-9D dynamic-balance tonearm or as the T1/AL configuration without a tonearm, the Grandioso T1 offers flexibility for different analogue system configurations and individual listening preferences.
