T-01

The ESOTERIC T-01 is a high-end analog turntable developed from the engineering philosophy of the flagship Grandioso T1. It inherits ESOTERIC’s patented MagneDrive System, precision motor control, and advanced vibration-isolation technologies, while introducing a more integrated chassis design and a compact separate power supply for easier installation. Combining high-torque performance with precise rotational stability, the T-01 is engineered to reproduce vinyl recordings with exceptional realism, musical energy, and emotional depth.

Esoteric MagneDrive System

The patented MagneDrive System uses magnetic induction to transfer rotational force without direct mechanical contact between the motor and platter. This contactless design helps isolate the platter from motor-borne vibration and rumble, delivering quiet, stable rotation without the need for a conventional drive belt.

High-Torque Drive System

The high-torque drive system is designed to provide precise rotational control, improved pitch stability, and dynamic bass performance. By maintaining consistent platter rotation, the T-01 aims to preserve the musical accuracy and energy of analog recordings.

Magne-Float Platter Technology

The 13 kg aluminium platter incorporates Magne-Float technology, which reduces its effective load on the spindle bearing to approximately 4 kg through magnetic repulsion. This design helps minimise bearing friction while supporting smooth and stable rotation.

Integrated MagneDrive Motor & Silent Operation

Unlike the separate motor arrangement of the Grandioso T1, the T-01 integrates the MagneDrive motor system into the main chassis. Its specialised Vibration Absorber Case construction helps suppress motor vibration and noise while making installation more straightforward.

Master Sound Discrete Clock Motor Driver

The high-quality Master Sound Discrete Clock motor driver is engineered to deliver exceptionally accurate platter rotation. It supports precise speed control and contributes to the turntable’s stable, consistent playback performance.

10 MHz External Clock Synchronisation

The T-01 features a 10 MHz external clock input, allowing synchronisation with compatible ESOTERIC master clock generators, including the Grandioso G1XD and G-05. This enables integration into a high-end audio system with precise clock reference control.

Triple-Layer Chassis & Vibration Isolation

The chassis combines aluminium and MDF in a triple-layer construction to help control unwanted vibration. A high-gloss piano-lacquer finish adds a refined appearance, while specialised isolation feet help reduce external vibration and acoustic feedback.

Two-Unit Configuration & Compact Power Supply

The T-01 uses a two-unit design comprising the main turntable and a separate, compact power supply. Compared with the three-unit architecture of the Grandioso T1, this more integrated arrangement simplifies installation while maintaining separation between the turntable and power supply.

Precision Speed Control

The T-01 supports 33⅓ and 45 rpm playback, with speed adjustment of ±12.5% in 0.1% increments. Its specified wow-and-flutter performance of 0.06% or less (W.R.M.S.) reflects the focus on accurate and stable rotational performance.

Flexible Tonearm Configuration

The T-01 is available with the TA-9S static-balanced tonearm or as the T-01 AL configuration without a tonearm. The cartridge is sold separately, allowing users to choose a cartridge that suits their preferred analog playback system.
