The Canton Reference Sub is a high-end active subwoofer designed to deliver deep, powerful, and precisely controlled bass for premium stereo and home theater systems. Advanced BCT Driver Technology

The Reference Sub features a 308 mm Black Ceramic Tungsten (BCT) woofer designed for high rigidity, low moving mass, and excellent control. Combined with Canton’s triple-folded Wave surround and TCC technology, the driver supports greater excursion while helping reduce distortion, delivering precise and dynamic bass reproduction across different listening levels.

Deep Bass with Passive Radiator Design

A front-firing active woofer works together with a large down-firing passive radiator to enhance low-frequency output. This bass-reflex configuration makes efficient use of the cabinet volume to produce powerful, controlled bass, adding impact to movie soundtracks and depth to music.

Powerful Digital Amplification

The integrated digital amplifier delivers up to 750 watts of music power, providing ample output for demanding low-frequency passages. With a frequency response extending down to 18 Hz, the Reference Sub reproduces deep bass effects and subtle low-frequency details, creating a more immersive listening experience.

Intelligent Room Compensation

Integrated digital signal processing and Room Compensation technology help optimise bass performance for different room acoustics. Three room-adjustment settings allow the subwoofer’s response to be tailored to its placement and listening environment, helping achieve a more balanced and controlled low-frequency presentation.

Flexible System Integration

The Reference Sub offers both high-level and low-level inputs, making it suitable for integration with a variety of amplifiers and AV receivers. Its rear control panel allows continuous adjustment of volume, crossover frequency, and phase, while an automatic power-on and power-off function adds convenience during everyday use.
