The Canton Reference Center is a high-end center-channel loudspeaker designed to complement the Canton Reference series and deliver a precise, natural, and immersive home theater experience. Combining advanced BCT driver technology, a sophisticated three-way design, and an acoustically optimized cabinet, it reproduces dialogue with clarity while delivering powerful, well-controlled bass and detailed high frequencies.

Designed as the centerpiece of a home theater system, the Reference Center delivers clear, authentic dialogue to help voices sound natural and distinct. Its carefully engineered three-way configuration provides balanced reproduction, allowing conversations and subtle details to remain clear even during complex movie scenes.

Advanced BCT Driver Technology

The Reference Center features two 174 mm Black Ceramic Tungsten (BCT) drivers and a 25 mm Black Ceramic (BC) dome tweeter. The lightweight yet rigid BCT diaphragms offer excellent internal damping for precise bass and midrange reproduction with minimal distortion. The midrange driver also incorporates TCC (Triple Curved Cone) technology, while Canton’s latest-generation Wave surrounds support controlled driver movement at different listening levels.

Powerful Bass with Bass Guide Technology

A three-chamber cabinet construction and downfire bass-reflex system with Canton’s Bass Guide technology help the Reference Center reproduce low frequencies with precision and impact. This design adds depth to cinematic sound effects while maintaining a well-balanced presentation that integrates smoothly with the other speakers in the Reference series.

Acoustically Optimized Cabinet Design

The Reference Center features a curved multilayer cabinet, a rounded front baffle, and specially developed black POM (polyoxymethylene) adapter rings. These elements help optimize sound dispersion and reduce unwanted acoustic effects from the cabinet edges. The design supports consistent sound reproduction across different listening positions while maintaining the elegant appearance of the Reference series.

Fine-Tuned Sound and Premium Connections

WBT nextgen™ speaker terminals, manufactured in Germany, provide a high-quality connection for reliable signal transmission. Integrated RC (Room Compensation) technology allows the midrange and treble levels to be adjusted in 1.5 dB increments, making it easier to tailor the sound to room acoustics and personal listening preferences.

Elegant Finishes and Flexible Placement

Available in White Satin and Black Piano finishes, the Reference Center combines refined aesthetics with practical installation options. Its acoustically neutral fabric grille attaches magnetically, while the speaker can be placed on a sideboard or mounted on the optional Reference Center LS stand for a freestanding setup.
