The Canton Reference 5 GS Edition is a refined high-end floorstanding loudspeaker that builds upon the Reference 5 with carefully selected premium components and advanced acoustic engineering. Featuring a newly developed DLC tweeter, an upgraded crossover with Mundorf MKP capacitors, and gold-plated WBT nextgen™ terminals, it delivers exceptional clarity, precise detail, and controlled musical performance.

Advanced DLC Tweeter Technology

The Reference 5 GS Edition features a 25 mm Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) tweeter derived from Canton’s Reference Alpha series. Its diamond-like carbon coating and specially developed acoustic lens help improve high-frequency precision, transparency, and dispersion, revealing subtle musical details with remarkable clarity.

Black Ceramic Tungsten (BCT) Driver Technology

Two 174 mm BCT woofers and a 174 mm BCT midrange driver combine high rigidity with low moving mass for accurate sound reproduction. This advanced diaphragm technology helps deliver powerful, controlled bass and natural midrange performance with minimal unwanted distortion.

High-End Crossover with Mundorf MKP Capacitors

Gold-Plated WBT nextgen™ Terminals and Room Compensation

Gold-plated WBT nextgen™ terminals provide reliable, low-loss signal connections and support both bi-wiring and bi-amping configurations. Integrated Room Compensation (RC) controls allow the midrange and tweeter levels to be adjusted in 1.5 dB increments, helping optimise tonal balance for different listening environments.
