CANTON REFERENCE 3

Powerful Elegance. Precise Sound.

The Canton Reference 3 is a high-end floorstanding loudspeaker that combines sophisticated German engineering, premium materials, and elegant cabinet design. Developed for discerning music enthusiasts, it delivers dynamic performance, precise imaging, and a detailed, lifelike listening experience.

Advanced BCT Driver Technology

The Reference 3 features Black Ceramic Tungsten (BCT) diaphragms in its midrange and bass drivers. Engineered for a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, these diaphragms help minimise unwanted resonance and distortion, supporting precise and controlled sound reproduction.

Deep, Powerful Bass

Two 192 mm BCT woofers work in combination with Canton’s integrated Bass Guide technology to deliver deep, powerful low frequencies extending down to 20 Hz. The carefully designed bass-reflex system also helps distribute bass energy throughout the listening room.

Detailed Midrange and High Frequencies

A 174 mm BCT midrange driver reproduces vocals and instruments with clarity and natural expression, while a 25 mm Aluminum Oxide Ceramic tweeter delivers detailed high frequencies. The three-way design and asymmetrical waveguide rings help optimise driver integration and sound dispersion.

Acoustically Optimised Cabinet

The Reference 3 features an elegantly curved cabinet constructed from high-quality multilayer laminate. Its carefully engineered enclosure helps minimise unwanted resonance, while the integrated base and Bass Guide combine structural stability with acoustic functionality.

Premium Connectivity and Room Compensation

High-quality WBT-nextgen™ terminals support single-wiring, bi-wiring, and bi-amping configurations. The integrated Room Compensation function allows midrange and treble levels to be adjusted in 1.5 dB increments, helping fine-tune the tonal balance to suit the listening environment.

German Craftsmanship

Developed and manufactured in Germany, the Canton Reference 3 combines refined aesthetics with advanced acoustic engineering. Its elegant proportions, premium finishes, and carefully selected components make it an outstanding choice for high-end stereo systems and sophisticated home entertainment spaces.
